Get Back

I thik that is pretty much what caused them to break up. Paul McCartney filled the power vacuum because Ringo was too chill, George was meek, and Lennon was too full of imposter syndrome to actually take charge and focus the band. But this changed the dynamics and Paul become the Gaffer instead of the Captain. Kind of like when Southgate became manager and fell out with Parlour and Boateng.
Now that's a whole new thread! Which Boro players past or present are a close match for a Beatle, personality-wise? I'm going for Cloughie as Lennon - lippy, witty, mercurially brilliant and a chip on both shoulders.

George Friend as McCartney, intelligent, articulate, and the ladies love him? Pint-sized spiritual-obsessed Alan Comfort as pint sized spiritual-obsessed Harrison? And Ringo's the odd looking one, there's a load of potential Ringos

What struck me really was the warmth. The character of the original film completely at odds with what we are now seeing.

McCartney resentful that has being forced to lead them, Harrison resentful of McCartney being the leader, his relationship with Lennon and therefore his own place in the band and Lennon seemingly under the spell of heroin but with his genius occasionally poking through.

Underpinning all of it though was the love of music and obvious love for each other. None more poignant a scene than the close up of a clearly emotional McCartney following Harrison leaving and Lennon seemingly not turning up. Close to tears he is asked to take a call from John. When he returns with the news that John is coming in his mood has completely lifted and he’s genuinely happy.
