Monk and Pulis both had a squad good enough for promotion the money they spent was obscene!

Flint was an even worse signing, although we got a surprising amount of the fee back I recall. The least technically competent player we've had for a long time.
The only thing I thought was decent about Saville was that he attempted to get in the box at times, but his general play was incredibly limited
