Gas cooker problem

Oven stopped working properly just before Christmas. Looks like the thermostat. The problem is I can't get anyone to come out and sort it.

Only solution I can think of is get a new oven. However, am I back to square one if no one can install it.

Has anyone had similar problems?
 
I usually buy appliances from AO.com and they install and recycle for a fee. I just had a look and it looks to be £115 installation for a gas cooker and £25 for remove and recycle of the old item.

If you want any trades people, I use the MyBuilder website where you post your job and people bid for the work. They all have reviews and feedback you can check to see if they are decent and the website do checks on their insurance to make sure they are legit. I've had some great trades at great prices because they can do the work in between doing other jobs in the area.
 
Penny Wise, Normanby - 01642 453307 The lad who runs this company is very reliable and prices for new appliances aren't much more expensive than AO. I did buy my recent electric ovens from the AO.

He does repair appliances as well.

No doubt Tripleheader will be along and tell you to get a quote from KwikFix. ;)

Have you tried https://www.electrocare.co/ based in Northallerton they have been superb when I’ve called them out for repairs previously.

It's cheaper to install a new oven and/or hob than repair in most cases, easy to fit.
