I kind of hope they call their bluff and it actually happens. Might be a good reminder to a lot of English fans that once you put your club in the hands of a random bunch of rich Americans, Arabs or Russians it’s no longer really your club, in fact it’s not a football “club” at all.

If anything good could possibly come from this, I'd love to see the 50+1 model adopted and more done to protect the integrity of clubs from these menaces who see them purely as businesses or franchises.
