What a fantastic gesture, what amazing group they are, quite emotional listening to Gary Neville there, some celebrities telling us they are self isolating & how badly they're doing out of this, among all this doom & gloom listening to GN brings a little light in to a very dark room

So nice to see that humanity is alive and well.
I've always respected Neville for his professionalism throughout his career, but it's another thing entirely to do what he's doing here.
Compare him to the irresponsible local politician who has just been interviewed while working out in a crowded gym in Wolverhampton on Channel 4 news.
Who would you rather have representing your interests?
 
I hope people have long memories concerning sh itbags like Branson...the guy who sued our NHS...that should have been enough for most people, but reading what GN has done with his hotels, and calling out racism on Sky....power to him. Good man 👍
 
I find it heartwarming that in this time of global crisis, it's socially responsible actions that are making massive differences.
This is not anti-Tory by the way, merely a commentary on the fact that this crisis is holding a mirror to societies all across the globe and revealing both the very good and the very bad of the world.

The problem with Branson is that he doesnt actually own VA... he is a minor share holder of the company with Air France/KLM and Delta the majors. So he has little to no say in whats happening although its his brand on show.

the other two will be laughing their t*ts off that he is getting the bad press and not them.

Well, im sure Branson could do something to mitigate Virgin asking the staff to take unpaid leave...I watched a Tory MP stand up in the commons yesterday and even he called him out over it

I thought the Virgin Group still owns 51%. The 31% sale to KLM/Air France didn't happen.
