Oh wow. I sometimes see him at Albert Parkrun. He nearly laps me. Ironically the last time we chatted there Russell Martin had just jogged past before our game with Southampton. I am so pleased for him that he is back in football. I know he has received a lot of stick on here but chat to him and he has so much in depth knowledge.
 
Just shows how much football has come on. I'm sure it must have been Lennie and Robbo who went to the chairman and said can we sign this player?

Will McLaren have identified players too or had clubs gone down the road of recruitment staff by this time.

Obviously we've always had scouts
 
Saw a tweet from the Gazette hinting that he had a new job but couldn't be arsed falling for their clickbait and getting spammed with a load of ads.

I think he gets some unfair criticism on here and I think he'd fair much better in our current setup.
 
Met him a few times through friends and never really took to him. Always came across as quite arrogant. But could just be me. Sure he was a player agent nowadays too? Ironically, wasn't it against Southampton that he broke his leg and carried on playing?

As a Boro lad though, I wish him all the best.
