He certainly is Sportsfans, after calling up Adam Wharton, my Notebook entry from 2022 after he had only played SIX GAMES for Blackburn 
Here's what I posted guys....must be worth a shout-out from Dana at least
However my Notebook choice this time is another unknown player No 36 Adam Wharton.
Incredibly this lad has only played 6 games for Rovers but looked assured and composed in midfield. With a great left foot, comfortable on the ball he provided the cross for the first goal. He could receive the ball and lay it off in tight situations and looked technically competent. Our midfielders were completely overwhelmed in that awful first half and Wharton played a big part in that. Faded in the second half and was subbed on 65' but Nobby already had him in the famous
by that point.
Wharton is only 18 and a product of the Rovers academy along with his older brother Scott, he only made his debut this season. Already featuring for England U19 he has a bright future for sure.
