Gareth Bale.

Might have had a transplant and is waiting til it grows before getting it cut
Possibly, but surely if you're going to have your hair that short everywhere but the crown then you may as well just chop the mop anyway.

Do Spurs have an option to buy Bale?
would they want to at 600k/week?

He will be on loan again next season for the final year of his contract. Then he will be a free transfer, but still a 10mill+/year commitment on a player that's struggled with fitness for a couple of years.

Great player when fit and interested, I'm just not sure that's going to be the case much more, amazing to think we could have had him and 7mill if in exchange for Downing.

Great to see him back to his best, just shows how difficult it can be to perform at the top level if not physically or mentally fit.

If he came here goals would have dried up and he’d have ended up at Oldham

It's not a haircut, it's a millenial combover, for the same purpose as Bobby Charlton's comeover.

I don't think that was ever realistically going to happen was it - not according to 'Arry anyway.

Bale - Kane - Son, could possibly be the best club front 3 in the world. Sort that defence out, and with Jose in charge, who knows what next season might bring them.
Another season of failure probably.

If they win nothing major again (the league cup is the bare minimum), then Kane has to go. He simply has to leave. He's been at Spurs forever and he's been absolutely incredible for a long long time now, and what medals does he have to show for it? Top goalscorer awards? And that's it?

He deserves to be competing for league titles and the champions league, year on year, not having to make do with the Europa League and a top 6 finish.

I love kane, everything about him, his talent and more importantly his attitude. He realistically could overtake Rooney as 2nd all time PL top scorer before he's 30, that would be some achievement, leaving him another 50 required in the rest of his career to surpass Shearer

Yes, 28 in the summer. Finished article. He's going to cost what? £150/£200 million? Man City maybe to replace Aguero? Can Man Utd afford him or be attractive enough for him? You could argue Spurs could challenge just as much as United with a little tweak here and there. PSG perhaps with Poch but would he want to play in France? Not many other teams spring to mind with the financial difficulties in Spain.

Agree it would take a huge and monumental fee for Spurs to even contemplate losing him, especially when his contract still has another 3 years to run - which could probably be the best 3 years of his career. And I personally don't see Kane being the type to force the move through neither. It looks like he's settled, and he's happy at Spurs, so fair play to him.

I just wonder when he retires and if he has no or very little trophies to look back on, will he think it was a mistake staying loyal at Spurs.

I can't see City signing him for the fee Spurs will demand. They certainly don't shy away from spending big, but they don't normally spend big on players going into their twilight period. If City spend big, it's normally on a players who are in their early 20s, not their late 20s. That's why I think if they'll sign any big named striker in the Summer, it'll probably be Haaland.

I can't see Kane moving abroad neither so that probably only leaves Man Utd who could probably financially afford him and they're not exactly filling their cabinets with trophies under OGS.

I agree with his record though. I think if he stays fit, he'll surpass Rooney's record and could definitely have a good crack at Shearer's record.
