Haven’t seen any mention of it, maybe there has been, but… watering the pitch on Saturday? There is no way rain will affect future matches after that. The water must all go into the River Tees. (y) :)

Yes after all those reports of non-stop rain and watering of the pitch as though it was sunny🙄
 
That watering of the pitch after the Saturday morning monsoon was totally unnecessary and was simply a big statement by our groundsman that he has the best pitch drainage in the world, and I mean the best.
