Is it a series or movie? But yeah I’ll watch anything Meadows makes.
It's a three part series. You can binge watch on i-player. Bear in mind who you watch with as the profanity is full throttle. If you've read the book, forget about it being anything much to do with it, other than it is a sort of prequel to what happens in the book. It has had a very mixed reception. I loved it personally. Beautifully shot. A bit mental. Great soundtrack. And, in places, very very funny. The lovers' tiff at the end of Ep 1 is hilarious ... well, it made me laff. All set in beautiful Calderfornia.

I enjoyed it, seemed to wrap up quite quickly though. You can tell it’s Meadows directing by the at times awkward and ad-libbed interactions which made this is England so good.
The barney outside of the pub was a brilliantly done.
Also enjoyable when he was trying to explain the “stag men” to the others.
