its more the fact that AJ has sold a combined total of over 7.7 million in his top 5 ppvs where as Fury has sold a total of 4.8 million, it’s quite a sizeable difference
Also I never said AJ was better than Fury, you claimed Fury was the bigger draw and I provided some statistics to prove otherwise

A few things I took from that.

Fury claiming Chisora deserves this fight but has repeatedly said Joshua is lucky to be getting the opportunity. In what universe is Derek Chisora more deserved of a world title shot and big payday than Joshua. Where could you even start to make that argument?

Batted away the question on why he couldn't wait and fight Usyk in 6 months. Basically said its his terms or it doesn't happen. Usyk holds 3 of the belts last time I checked and was coming off the back off two big fights. Usyk has every right to request a later date. Sounds like Fury is avoiding that fight to me.

Claiming that he doesn't need to beat Joyce and Usyk to prove he's the best of his era. I'm sure he said Joyce was in nappies while he was fighting for world titles at one point. Joyce is about 6 years older than him. Of course he needs to beat them.

Claiming he doesn't care about legacy... yet constantly saying he's the greatest ever. Great call out in my opinion.

Fury made to look very silly and he knows it hence why the dummy was spat right out.
 
Also laughable how he claims interviewer is being disrespectful to Chisora, (which he wasn't) and his comeback being he's a better fighter than you.

Then repeatedly referring to "some foreigner" through the interviewer as if that makes them a 2nd class citizen. And that WAS disrespectful from him.

I've heard Fury's camp say time and time again that Tyson needed a fight to stay active whilst he waits for the Usyk fight at end Feb, early March - that's your 6 months - he is waiting. He's just staying active.

Chisora is a crap fight - we all get it. It sounds to me like they waited for AJ, he ducked it, they were under pressure to get someone booked in for the 3rd December, Chisora was the easiest fighter to get. TBH if they suspected AJ would duck the fight no wonder they set deadlines.

Like Tyson said - if you wanna watch it then watch it, if you don't you don't. Who cares?
 
I actually felt Fury held his own throughout that interview and articulated his counter-argument well. He let himself down though with the childish insults at the end of the interview - showed a lack of class.

To be fair he may be struggling with his mental health again, as he looked pretty down throughout that interview.
 
Fury playing the mental health card since he got caught failing a drug test for peds. Now back to the childish insults.

Furys a good boxer but a despicable human being and the media campaign to put him as some form of mental health advocate is a strange one.

Fury should have his next fight in America…..
