Don't forget it is easy to play well in a team playing well, a lot harder when a team and others are struggling and when every mistake seems to result in a goal.
For me a recurring issue this year is simply not closing the opposition down. The ball out wide and invariably the cross comes in creating more danger. Players on the edge of the box getting shots off.
How many crosses came in today that flashed across goal and just needed a touch, when we should have been stopping the cross. I hope we can get the points we need, but we have no easy fixtures left that's maybe a good thing in a strange way.

It says a lot as well that the team is still largely made up of Monks' signings, who we overpaid for. Not many of Karankas' signings left.
