From U23s... "Potentially 2 debuts on Saturday"

From Wilders press conference on Youtube, "potentially 2 debuts". Malley, Folarin, Sivi and Kokolo have already made debuts?

Could we be seeing debuts for Joe Gibson and Cain Sykes tomorrow? or is anyone else ahead of them in the U23s?

Im assuming he meant making their first starts in some cases rather than actual debuts. Surely that Isaac Fletcher will be in with a shout though.

He could have meant the new lad and Connolly too I guess?

He answered the question about U23s being part of the team so I don't think Connolly counts.

Brynn's a good shout. It'll be Brynn + 1 other. Kavanagh looks good but maybe a little young/not enough games? I'd go with Sykes, Gibson or Fletcher

If its 'kids' then probably Brynn and Gibson. I'd like to see both feature.

I don't think he was including Connolly in that. Although he's nailed on to start.

I don't think I've ever been so excited to see a Boro 2nd string as I am today.
It's creeping up on me. I'm not turning cartwheels yet but I'm intrigued to see just what Wilder can achieve. His impact has been almost immediate; he's transformed the style of play from lump-it hoofball to an all-action, attacking press. Above all, he's brought an air of positivity. It's early days but we've moved on from the 'blame somebody else' philosophy of recent management(s) to a 'we can do this' culture. UTB!

Well done Caolan, according to my records, he's the 1st Boro player to score an FAC goal on his debut

There have been a couple of players who have scored an FAC goal on their home, away debut after playing a game before

@shaun71, is this right

Great debut, but he needs to get his fitness levels up. He looked like I'd look after running the length of the pitch 🏃
