Ha that sounds interesting and got me thinking I am assuming that every one adds milk to the egg and beats it together before soaking the bread in the mix when making the French Toast / Eggy Bread is that true?

suppose it would be Eggy Milky bread then , my Dad taught us to use Milk as well maybe that's the also Scottish influence as well as the name and why we called it French toast although had aunties who would call in eggy bread from my Mam's side
