I don't agree with her doing it there, but, it shouldn't be arrestable, she has the right to peaceful protest or should.Just a disgusting lack of respect.

Would you be happy. Anyone care to answer
Why can't people just understand respect.
Sadly plenty of our fans did that, I didnt ever see anyone arrested for it thoughBreach of the peace potentially but it would be up there with booing players taking the knee, would you have complained if someone was arrested for that? Both are equally disgusting.
The monarchy still hasn't given it's stolen jewels back from its days of imperialism. Of course there is a huge link between imperialism and monarchy. It was the monarch that gave the East India Company the rights to pillage and steal from India for example. Of course, they had to pay backhanders to the crown to do so. The monarchy has enriched itself on not just foreign blood and oppression, but also OUR blood, by sending young poor people to die in foreign lands for the enrichment of the crown. Pretty appalling really. That's a fair point, but if you are one of the majority of Jamaicans (who seem likely to remove King Charles as their head of state) not one that will convince. The Crown was the titular head of an exploitation machine that has sought to continue its influence via soft power. By contrast, once the French and Portuguese were gone, they were gone; their writ no longer ran (at least officially)
Arresting people for expressing a different political view is textbook fascismAnd what exactly is this breach of the peace then - holding a sign up in public ?
It's rubbish because, erm, it's different to hisWhy is her view rubbish? The way she did it was but her opinion is a valid one.
Don’t be silly, I’m all for it and people are free to do as they wish but not while her coffin is being drove through the streets. She was rightfully removed. It's rubbish because, erm, it's different to his
Again you havent said why, she might have had a view different to you or me but legally she had just as much right to be there as either of us regardless of the view she was expressing. Dragging away people because they have a different opinion on the matter is something you would expect in North KoreaDon’t be silly, I’m all for it and people are free to do as they wish but not while her coffin is being drove through the streets. She was rightfully removed.
Rightfully removed, or rightfully arrested? Big distinction to be made hereDon’t be silly, I’m all for it and people are free to do as they wish but not while her coffin is being drove through the streets. She was rightfully removed.
Rightfully removed I don’t know enough to understand why she would be arrested I wasn’t there so can’t really comment.Rightfully removed, or rightfully arrested? Big distinction to be made here
It is getting very North Korea-esque with portraits of her being plastered on tube stations, and order screens in McDonalds, and people dragged away or verbally attacked for not towing the line that the royals are perfect.Again you havent said why, she might have had a view different to you or me but legally she had just as much right to be there as either of us regardless of the view she was expressing. However if that's your standard, that you should be removed for doing something 'distasteful', then booing an anti-bullying gesture would also fall under that same clause, and therefore people booing taking the knee at football should also be removed.Rightfully removed I don’t know enough to understand why she would be arrested I wasn’t there so can’t really comment.

What law has she broken then, and what will be the charge ?Don’t be silly, I’m all for it and people are free to do as they wish but not while her coffin is being drove through the streets. She was rightfully removed.
Charge = Grade A ar seWhat law has she broken then, and what will be the charge ?

A common sense approach to free speech is needed by everybody. You can go around and say whatever you like but there will always be repercussions. However if that's your standard, that you should be removed for doing something 'distasteful', then booing an anti-bullying gesture would also fall under that same clause, and therefore people booing taking the knee at football should also be removed.
This is the problem we now have with the new laws the Tories have introduced - the police now have the power to arrest anyone that says anything against the state, no matter how minor it may by. Dangerous territory indeedRead the article it says breach of the peace
