Thanka for that link. What a great story of life after Boro for a player that is often depicted as a drawihg rather than a photo while playing for us.

it was 2 blokes from the sunlun shipyards who were sent to work in Bilbao who played a major role in starting the club - thats why they play in red n white stripes.

however it was pointed out on here recently that sunlun took their stripes off South Bank St Peters - so i can sleep content when i shout for both Bilbao and Athletico Madrid on the telly
 
I read this yesterday and didn't realise he played for the Boro. Interesting bit of knowledge to add to the repository.
