Just on way back from Glasgow. You are going to love FoD they were belting last night. Went down a storm in Broadcast. Only short set as they don't have that many songs. Played about an hour.
So good finally decided to do trek to Oxford next week to see them support Coach Party.
Support band last night Swiss Portrait are worth checking out on Bandcamp as they were class also.

Excellent. Hopefully I'll get along to their London gig tomorrow, though family stuff might get in the way. Whichever, I have them and Coach Party at Omeara in the diary too. Properly looking forward to seeing them after your positive response.

v enjoyable night, thanks again Arthur for tickets for me and my daughter who enjoyed the band even more than me . Probably the smallest room I've ever seen a 'proper' gig in but that helped create a pretty good atmosphere. Only about 50 ppl there but the band went down better as the set progressed and Quit Fxxxing Around which ended the set got everyone singing the chorus and I can imagine it being a big hit at festivals. I asked Jana afterwards why she didn't play 'Broken' and she said it was v difficult to play live. They came on at 9pm and raced through the 10 songs so I've got home at a decent time along with my 'trophy' - Jana's setlist. It was so liberating to go to a gig, it's emboldened me to see more and I'm looking fwd to seeing Working Men's Club. The support was Pile of Clothes, a guy + guitar from Leeds(I think) who was actually rather good with a nice line in banter. I'll email a couple of pics

Got the pictures thanks. Loved the set list on a bit of old cardboard. Think it was similar setlist to Glasgow as my lad was whinging that they didn't do Karen and I like yourself wanted Broken(I love the Weezerish intro). Glad you and your daughter liked it. There is nothing like live music. I have bit the bullet and I'm making 5 hour journey to Oxford next week to see them support Coach Party. Costing me a fortune in train and digs but I've just lost a good friend who had shows booked for Alanis Morrissette and Van Morrison and I am thinking I'm 67 so get to gigs while I am still able to.

Check out Coach Party I'm sure your daughter will love them as well.

Glad I read this thread just checked them out and I'm hooked. I know what I am listening to tonight instead of watching the idiot box. And why have I never logged into Bandcamp before is beyond me.
