Forget the North/South divide, what about the East/West divide

Don't you think there is a disparity between East/West in this country as well as the much mentioned North/South divide?

What major airports are on the East side of the country?

We barely have any motorways and rely on the A1 to get up and down the country which is mostly two lanes (not enough with the current levels of traffic) and laughably just one lane in the North East.

How about a four lane motorway being built that connects Edinburgh-Newcastle- Sunderland-Middlesbrough-York-Hull-Lincoln-Cambridge-Peterborough-London.

Plus another motorwway from Norwich-Ipswich-Colchester-Chelmsford-London.

Oh and upgrade the A14 from west to east a motorway too.

And while I'm ranting, when a motorway is four lanes then restrict trucks and slow moving vehicles to the first two lanes only instead of them instantly clogging up three lanes.

The A1 and M1 both go through the East Midlands and South and West Yorkshire. while the West only has the M6 up to Manchester

I can't except East/West divide.

There are four quarters to the UK,
South East - highly populated, centre of investment
North West - big populations and currently being upgraded
South West and North East - lagging behind in investment and opportunities. Very similar areas.
