Forest tweet

Might be OTT but how’s that “tackle” not given by VAR, only seen the clip so don’t know what the explanation might be

Yeah, the last one was a definite penalty for me.

I don't think the first two are clear and obvious enough if the ref hasn't given it.
The first foul I don't even think is a penalty, just a theatrical dive from minimal contact.
I'd have given the handball if it was me, but it was borderline.

I don't think it's because there's a conspiracy against Nottingham Forest that they weren't given.

The first one is the sort of foul that demands the player goes over 'cos the ref won't give a penalty otherwise. Was a tad threatrical which is why the ref might have said no but VAR should have told the ref it was a clear foul (which it was).

The handball was borderline but the one just given in the FA Cup game against ManU was less obvious.

The last was just a ****-take. The ref said Young got the ball and the replay shows he didn't. Clear and obvious error, surely.

They must have been hacked? I can't believe a club would tweet this?

Whoever did it is probably out of a job tomorrow 😂

Jokes aside its refreshing. I'm all for clubs sounding out bad decisions. Just say it as it is.

It doesn't even really make any sense. If Atwell is a Luton fan, surely a draw would be better for him to keep Everton close as well as Forest, wouldn't it?

The biggest issue is that VAR was supposed to try and stop this kind of bickering. Three penalties for me. Especially if they were against Boro. NF should have restricted their rant to VAR failings. They might have got sympathetic decisions from refs in upcoming games. They focused on alleged bias of the VAR. Lost a lot of support from neutral fans and undoubtedly the support of refs and assistants.

Crazy how they were one of the clubs who voted against the lower league clubs getting more money from the EPL and now they look like going down...Karma in action.
The plan also involved stopping parachute payments to relegated clubs, so there was more of a level playing field in the Championship. For that reason, it was clearly in Forest's interests to vote against it.

I saw the report on the TV, and none of them immediately looked like penalties to me. Now, if we slow down and look at it from a zillion angles, there might have been contact, but none of them looked stonewall to me. Certainly worse decisions have been made.

The reaction from the club is remarkable. Fans say this sort of thing, and even managers from time to time out of frustration, but this is coming from the whole club. Very strange,.
