Didn't have heavy hearts when they were banging tables and huzzahing at everything that was spat out of the fat odious chancers gob did they?

Didn't have the spines to stop this complete embarrassment of a government ages ago did they?

Self interest, self preservation.

Mr Bevans words are true.

“That is why no amount of cajolery, and no attempts at ethical or social seduction, can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred for the Tory Party that inflicted those bitter experiences on me. So far as I am concerned they are lower than vermin”

Never has a man had such an ego, such a craving for power, such a feeling of entitlement. I don’t think it is anything to do with money - although Stories are that he hasn’t got much what with all the alimony payments he has to make and kids to fund.

As somebody said well yesterday. Never has anybody craved the office of PM more, trod on others to achieve his aim, compromised his own beliefs to do so and then when he gets it he is absolutely sh1t at it.

Although I put this down as a ”like” and it’s a fantastic quote, I can never look on
Nye Bevan today after watching Ruth Jones “Who do you think you are”.
