I hadn't realised he'd died on the same day Black Sabbath released Paranoid.

He was a great guitarist with some great songs, but I rarely find myself listening to him for some reason. I feel a bit like he didn’t have *loads* of good songs, just a handful.

I might get that Mick wall biography. Seems like he is a big fan of Tom Wolfe who I like.

One thing I never realised. Everyone said Jimi was left handed. I've been reading that he wrote with his right hand. To me that makes him ambidextrous at least. Wonder if having a stronger hand doing the fretwork rather than the strumming made a difference.
