Football postponed until Tuesday

The EFL programme is set to recommence on Tuesday September 13 following The Queen's death.

When and how EFL football recommences depends on resources around this date.

Resourcing issues, particularly in respect of policing, are associated with some fixtures that will need to be discussed and resolved on a fixture-by-fixture basis over the period ahead.

Consideration to individual fixture circumstances will be made on a case-by-case basis, in line with usual protocols.

That would seem sensible. London is likely to be very busy with people wanting to be around the palace. There is a finite number of bobbies. If they cancel days off they may still be able to cope.
Have you seen what millwall have said

On our last visit to Millwall it seemed the entire Met police mounted and dog section were there with another 300 police parked in side streets.
If any of the games in London don't go ahead it will be Millwall as they seem to require a greater police presence than any other game in the country.

If Cleveland police are sending cops to London, how on earth will they be able to 'police' 150 Cardiff fans on Tuesday, and 250 Rotherham fans on Saturday 🤔
Both of these games will require a very small police presence. Cardiff have some fans who could potentially look to cause trouble, but i can’t see them travelling in any size of numbers for this one.

In otherwords they will ensure that Liverpool and Celtics games are not played

Is there a possibility they don't allow welsh teams to play due to welsh nationalists?
