Football on?

Hopefully they see this as “crack on lads”

that would absolutely be the right solution, for those that are too upset to go, they don't need to, for those that see it as an opportunity to pay respects, they can, for those that don't respect royalty they get to carry on as is.

There is no logical reason to cancel it this week, if there must be a cancellation then the day of the funeral is more appropriate. A 10 day shutdown denying the public of their favourite pastime isn't

I think they should go ahead.

Public gatherings are the ideal opportunity to show respect

For those feeling upset about yesterday's events, sharing that with others is usually a positive thing to do.

Hopefully common sense will prevail.

Get them going ahead.

If fans don't want to go because they think it's disrespectful, then they can avoid them.

There will be an opportunity before kick-off to pay respect as there always is.

The fixture congestion is already bad due to the World Cup.

How much money would be lost by fans if they cancel them today? Hotels, train tickets, holidays taken from work etc, all the local businesses that would lose out.

Sporting events are used by many to escape the harsh realities of life, for some it's the only enjoyment they can get, why take that away from people?

For me, the pros for letting them go ahead far outweigh any cons.

All the noise is sounding like it’s going to be off, a lot of interviews saying along the lines that common sense should prevail and people need to mourn so postponement likely.

Al National League pyramid games and "grass roots football" are seemingly off according to the Statement from the Southern Football League
