We have one and have used it loads, fondue very easy to make and really nice.

We have a simple raclette melting device also.

Everyone had a footspa. Used once then kept in the loft for a couple of years. Taken to a charity shop or to the skip.
You can still get them £28 - £108 on Amazon, if you have any room in your loft

The first time I went to someone's house who had a fondue set, they put hot oil in the pot and there were cubes of raw beef and pork that you put on the end of your long fork and cooked yourself. It wasn't until later that I found out that it should be melted cheese in the pot. A branch of my family is Swiss, so I am no stranger to Raclette.

Use my sandwich toaster quite often, it isn't on ethose ones that seal teh edges, just 2 flat plates. great for toasted ham and brie pannini

What does the word actually fondue mean - i have never met anyone who has one or seen one in use. I just know they used to be on the conveyor belt on the generation game

I remember my Mam and Dad having one, it'd be a thing to have friends 'round on a Saturday night to have them dip bread in melted cheese like it was some special kind of meal

we had 2, 1 small, 1 large (dropped and broke it last month ) and used them both regularly, well just the small 1 now.
