Following the queen’s death there may be no football this weekend

I do wonder what the situation would be for those who've paid for public transport to get to the match.

Not sure the train companies would see it as grounds for a refund.

No chance, hotels sometimes offer free cancellation until the day before depending on the terms of the booking but small independent places probably wont be able to afford loosing out

No one has lived through anything on this scale. I wouldn’t rule anything out.

Well If she were to pass close enough, then fair enough I guess. But if she was to die today and the football is cancelled for the next weekend or two then no, I think that’s bonkers. Sorry like, maybe I’m just nuts?

We were playing Spurs, I remember because we were driving back up to Boro and we were listening to it in the car.

I was thinking the same thing. Heading up north tomorrow and have Newcastle v quins on sat and running this on Sunday.

Technically I think it should be called off, it's an official IAAF event isn't it

It wasn’t that it was if the games off it I don’t they should etc.

When it’s clear what will happen.
