If the price is.,£900( which someone said it would be at 750+VAT)we would need ≈35 to sign up to be£25 pp£25 per person, up for that.
Just need all to reply to buffalo
We have a total of 15 , including me,who have contacted me directly . There were more who said they would do it, so still need keep promoting the idea.( 31 said yes/if the price is right in the initial poll).
If they all replied. To me we would be at a price range per person that's viable for most.
I thought VAT was 5% for this?If the price is.,£900( which someone said it would be at 750+VAT)we would need ≈35 to sign up to be£25 pp
I asked you for an email and I sent a message , via email, to those who have given me their email address ( to minimise the messy threads ). I have already said that the club did reply .If you've not sent me any details of how you propose to collect money or how we select the player or pay the club?
Have the club replied to your emails?
As per the club website(click on where it says info for the details) , the money goes to the club , we sponsor a player . For that , we get a bit of publicity and ,I think, a signed shirt which could randomly assign to one of the donors or do with whatever the group chose to do.Can somebody please explain what actually happens with sponsorship?
Where does the money go and what do we get for it. That kind of thing THX
I don't know, I didn't ask the club for the exact VAT rate . Once we get firm numbers I'll email the contact person again . That would be great if it's true.I thought VAT was 5% for this?
That would make it approx. £790.I thought VAT was 5% for this?
Yes, sadly that seems to be the case. Thank you for looking.I don't think it will be 5% VAT according to this

They are obviously keen and he sent me a list of players who were available at the time and of whom I posted a poll for people to vote on.
The list is obviously dynamic.
I haven't no, nothing to add at this stage that's not on this postI asked you to message me through the site but you haven't sent anything yet - or its not getting through if you have
It was for fmttm first . Someone suggested a charity, we voted and we are staying with fmttm , it's for a bit of fun and ,I suppose, to connect a bit more with the club during these glum times.I might be interested but trying to understand the sentiment in doing it on behalf of a charity? MFC isn't a charity so by giving them the money isn't that completely going against what is being suggested?
Apologies as I'm not trying to point score or diss the idea, just want to understand more then I can make a decision.
Cheers and good luck
I think it would be helpful if you explained how you plan to collect the money/pay the club - some people who are unsure might be more willing to contribute/get in touch if they knew what the process was.It was for fmttm first . If you want more info etc please message me directly
I'm going to email the 'link' person in the club to see if we could all pay them using our own credit cards. I can't see how that would be an issue for them and it saves anyone having to deal with money. Plus, makes it easier for those of us outside of the UK.I think it would be helpful if you explained how you plan to collect the money/pay the club - some people who are unsure might be more willing to contribute/get in touch if they knew what the process was.
