Five threads about Boro on the first page of RTG

That's quite funny, but to be fair most of them are just about the match and would probably be replicated whoever they were playing.

I wonder if they'll have a similar thread as this one when they play Plymouth at home.

I remember the overturned van they talk about. If its the same one it had Sunderland stamp on the tax disk and that was enough for the Boro fans. Over it went and was set alight on Crescent Road. Think it turned out it belonged to someone from Boro. Was some mad times in the 80s especially night games.

They now have 12 threads, one being related to a big display they are having for the game that they don’t consider big.

I also note two threads on attendances (obsessed) and two stating it’s not a derby.

No wonder they get called SMBs. UTB.

Theres mention of the match at roker where they sang Jamie pollock ugly barsteward all match. So do i. I was there, they did sing it the whole game until Pollock scored late on to win it. Then the whole Boro end sang it in celebration. 😂 Happy memory 😁

RtG is a better and more focussed on football forum than this.
It is a great forum in fairness, I'll give them that.

Get loads of supporters of other clubs posting on there. It's a bit of a shame we don't get more supporters of other clubs posting on here.

Cause they aren't constantly posting about Trump, Brexit and Ukraine. Puts football posters off.
They have sub-forums and they have a politics forum. In all fairness I'm not sure this board generates enough traffic to justify having sub-forums, so it is what it is.

Their going on and on about the is it or isn't it a derby is pretty pathetic...
Fact - it's a North East derby. Always has been always will be

Of course they have a closer local rival. So what

But they get big gates for us, their fans overall are more in to it etc. Just a few Geordie haters trying to act cool and let's face it, trying to forget the fact we have generally had their number the last 20 years 😂

Boro is geographically placed pretty much alone, like Carlisle for instance. Until Pools or Darlo rise up Sunderland are nearest.
