A while back he was a question in my local pub quiz, "which magazine had BBC weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker done a risque photoshoot for?" & I remembered that it was gay lifestyle mag Attitude and got the team a point (a rare occurence, hence my clear memory of it).

Always assumed he was gay after that.

Good sport was Wincey. 4 of us on a train back from watching Boro in London, somewhat the worse for wear and she was in the same carriage. Needless to say she got some banter. Took it all in good humour and gave as good as she got.

72 years old now!!!

I know a friend of Wincey Willis who told me a few months ago that Wincey was in a nursing home in Sunderland and was 'not all there now' - not quite sure what the diagnosis was. Shame she was a NE personality that did well and made us proud.
