First two games

It is a strong league but it has been for over a decade.

However, we have had a really positive start, the two new signings on Saturday who started were excellent. Crooks first half was very impressive.

I just hope QPR's well worked set piece routines don't 'confuse' us on Wednesday in the same way Bristol City's chip into the box did yesterday.

Hull had plenty of chances in that game versus QPR and lucked unlucky and 0-3 certainly wasn’t a fair reflection on the game imho
That said, QPR will of gained confidence from the result however, so will boro
Come on you mighty REDS !!!

Decent side QPR. I will take 4 points from the next 2 and go into the break with 8 points and unbeaten.

Then a few days to get Watmore and Tav fit and hopefully a week to bed in a couple of signings. It's that simple 😂

That’s all they are though. Decent.
QPR are well beatable indeed. Even without tavernier and watmore I’d expect us to have enough being at home to take all the points.
These are the games where Neil Warnock normally comes to the fore in terms of finding a way to get at a team by working out how to approach it whilst imposing our selves on them
We will play a lot better teams at home than these lot on Wednesday, therefore even with injuries we have the players to see these off.
A win will really get the supporters going and send us off to Derby growing in belief

Are Tav and Watmore definitely missing the game?

Yes agree they are beatable. Although I argue anyone is in the champo. Just look how Boro did against both Watford and Norwich Last season.

I'd be more 'worried' about Derby😂. Just the usual typical Boro game. I think they won one in 18 or something at the end of last season and it was against us.

That said they are in a right state and hopefully we take a large following (although doesn't always help).

Warnock said he won't rush them and doubts they will feature in either game. I guess giving them the international break to get fully fit.

I presume Akpom will be available. It's at least an option we currently don't have.

Yes, Warnock said they ‘probably’ won’t feature until after the international break,

Akpom coming back is no comfort, he hasn’t got an ounce of passion or fight in him for me. If he does then he doesn’t show it….

QPR are actually my dark horses for this season, I think they could get play offs.

We look so thin on the ground atm I'll take any positive results, but not really expecting them as much as I normally would be.

I'd say QPR are about on a par with Bristol: likely to finish in the 8-14th window.

That one has started well and one poorly isn't enough to change my opinion yet.

Right now I'm just enjoying that "can't wait for the next match" feeling. Didn't have It at all last year. I looked forward to Saturday, but it exceed my expectations
