Ok my apologies but you can still search for previous thread if you want to. (y)

Mine was Brighton at home in 1958 but I was only 4 and don't remember it. But at least I can say I saw Cloughie play:ROFLMAO:

I never saw him play football but I did see him play cricket!
Boro vs Redcar CC

Boro 1 West Brom 0, October 1976. Win put us back on top of the first division. Mills scored and Johnny Giles was player manager for West Brom. First away game was a 4-0 defeat at Joker Park in February of that season.

Huddersfield Town v Middlesbrough, 28 August 1965 Lost 6 nil

2 Huddersfield players got hat tricks…. At least I haven’t seen us concede 7 !

27th December 1966 Boro 4-0 Darlington in the old third division.
Arthur Horsfield two goals,Jimmy Lawson and a big John penalty.25213.
We played them the day before at Feethams and won 3-0.My Dad wouldn’t take me there said it would be a crush and it would have been.Think there was 18k packed into Feethams.
Same game matey, was hooked after that. Couldn't believe how green the pitch was, football had been in black and white up until then.

Mine was night match in 1977.
A 3-0 home win against Manchester United with goals for Mills and Armstrong (2).

I picked this program up a few years ago online, with notes from the day.

Forum member Dham took me as it happens…

Either 71 of 72, our mam can't remember when it was, but I remember being sat on the barrier on the NW corner of the Holgate.

Boro v Crystal Palace. 2 - 2
Simod Cup game I think. 1988, but not entirely sure.

I remember the next game more as it was boro v spurs, we lost 3 2. They had gazza, lineker etc. It was the match where everyone was chucking mars bars at gazza!

Good times!

I don't remember the date but it was Ipswich v Boro at ayresome park when the lights went out. Mid 70's.

Erimus very kindly sent me the gazette report of the match which I framed for my dad.
