First Covid 19 harvest today.

5 weeks ago I planted radish seeds in a flower bed, lettuce seeds in an old Belfast sink and 4 tomato seeds to grow on.

Today we had our first home grown radishes in a salad which the wife put together, lovely peppery taste (also passed on bunches to a couple of neighbours).
Lettuce doing fine but not ready yet.
Tomatoes seedlings doing well and transferred into large plant pots (they are a bush variety).

Any suggestions what else to add to a very small garden?

Perpetual spinach beet keeps growing till December.

I'll give that a go, also thinking about beetroot.

Only a small patch needed and it grows and grows. Just keep picking it.

Let some of your radishes bolt so that you can harvest the seed pods. Considered a delicacy on the Indian subcontinent ... like beans.

Grow spuds in a container. My old fella used to do that.

We grew a ton of tomatoes last year from just a few plants.

Spring onions are good to grow, don't take up much room. Also, try doing some micro greens, they are great and can harvest throughout the Summer for salads etc.
