Finally…. the met will act

Should be a pretty open and shut case, Johnson has admitted the events took place but claimed ignorance as his defence, obviously ignorance of the law does not allow you to break it and he should be charged and prosecuted as others have been, the police and security details will have a comprehensive list of comings and goings during this period and I think to all of us who were working through the pandemic know that these gatherings were not part of the essential activities only and face to face if absolutely necessary outlined in law.

This was not guidance this was law passed by the very person who seems to think his exceptionality and privilege some how excludes him from the bounds of legality that bind the rest of us. Every day there is something new and every day the warnings that many of us gave relating to his unsuitability are cemented by his actions, this is not about his politics but show that a man with his repugnant morality, history of deceit and with no idea of what service and leadership in high office require should not be or should never have been Prime Minister.

I think we got A preview of how that white wash will look today in the tories response to answers in the house..,

Conservative MP asks for 'sense of proportion'

Conservative MP Sir Edward Leigh says Europe stands on the brink of war and there is a cost of living crisis.
"Can we please have a sense of proportion over the prime minister being given a piece of cake in his own office by his own staff," he says.
"I completely agree," replies minister Michael Ellis.
