But it is a big playing area and the era ( ie on horses) can lead to dull journeys but then it can all change in a second.

It’s a stunning game snd has tremendous depth ( the animal hunting fishing crafting etc is a game in itself) but it goes reward time invested in it.

The more you put in the more you get out it’s a stark contrast to the all action of thrills and spills of GTA.

Cheers Jedi, I’m going to pause on it as I’m only getting an hour here and there and maybe start it in the new year

I think they made a mistake in limiting several options until later in the game esp fishing hunting etc.

But when you get all the abilities unlocked it’s a great experience and the socio politicsl humour is right up there as well.

Yes well worth persevering with though.

I drifted as well but I really hit it in lock down and once it hooks you realise how good it is as it’s just vast.

I will definetly do the story but when I have more time, going to give cyberpunk a go instead
 
Official announcement on World Cup add on and there only 2 official stadia included

2 how is that a World Cup game.
 
yeah bit of a shame. like that the new kits are there though (was surprised the new england shirt wasn't already on when it came out).

I started RDR2 for the second time before FIFA came out, got a few hours into it but I’ve been playing FIFA ever since and just can’t be bothered getting back into RD. As much as it feels good when there’s some action, it’s too slow for me.

God of War Ragnorak is out next week, might treat myself to that.

Massive hype behind it too. It's a shame it's PlayStation exclusive. In fact I don't agree with console exclusive games in this day and age. Severely restricts the potential number of units developers could sell. Especially now cross platform gaming is becoming more of a common trend.

I'd love to play the likes of Uncharted, God of War and The Last of Us but couldn't justify forking out for a PS5 when I've already got the Series X Xbox. Same could be said the other way, PlayStation owners wanting to play the likes of Halo (obviously not the most recent one as it's dog ****).

It would be worth it for the last of us and uncharted alone, my two favourite game series.

Nice! I'll take a look tonight. Just finished my second season with Boro. Was finding it too easy on legendary so did second half of second season on ultimate. Far more realistic, lost a few, won a few. Ended up finishing 6th - missing out on Europe on final day! Still really enjoying it.
 
For anyone who’s into their FUT, they’ve released absolutely loads of stuff today for the World Cup, probably the best content they’ve had in a long time.
 
enjoyed playing the world cup mode. started on top level, made it through the group stage (despite losing to wales in final game 3-2!) then lost to holland with a last minute header from a corner in round 2!
