Howson can play any position in football superbly.

Crooks 90 minutes in the legs and a very good assist.

Solid games from Barlaser and Mowatt.

Archer with a classy goal and Chuba and Hackney have had well deserved rests and will be raring to go.

Dijksteel was ok but we need Smith back for play offs, he’s just more solid.

Now onto the game. We can take plenty out of that and I would fancy us big time if we were to make it to the final against them, with a full strength team they can’t cope against us, we were the better team tonight by a mile. Thankfully not much riding on it otherwise I would be devasted as the best team lost.

They got lucky tonight with a set piece and a very dodgy penalty.

Can only be positive about that, came up against what should be the best team in the playoffs and I thought they were awful.

I think the Dijksteel or Smith debate is over Smith every time much better defender may not have the pace or attacking threat of Dijk but a much safer pair of hands at the back

Akpom could have had a hattrick had he started and had the same chances Crooks had tonight.

Gives me confidence though that if we do play them in the final Akpom can hurt them.

I think it showed the limitations of some of the squad tonight, we’ve been banging goals in with our front 4 but the likes of bola and crooks are really not up to it in the box they each had numerous good chances to score

I think Newyddion is correct on another thread. Luton have no idea of our team to face them in the playoffs, whereas we know everything about them. They're cheating tw@s, and I hope that biased ref never officiates ever again.

yeah has to Smith if he is fit we are much better with him in it Carrick figured this out pretty much straight way to be fair, it is a shame as I actually like Dijk seems like a decent lad but he just is not a solid enough defender

Goal scoring isn’t usually a strength with just full backs.

after calming down from the blatant cheating that occurred, I'm pretty happy with our general play. a little bit lacking in the final third but that is to be expected with such a rotated side. I like Dijksteel but is a bit indecisive in possession so would have to be smith for me. I think Jones played well again but still would prefer forss just for end product reasons. (goals mainly rather than assists.)

How both the ref and lino never seen that dive for penna is shocking . Most 2nd tier teams in top leagues in Europe have VAR . why not here. Champo is meant to be stronger than some euro top tier leagues. Result tonight don't bother me at all. Luton were ***** against a mostly 2nd team forward line Boro on a much littler pitch . I think Carrick babysitting all our forwards ready for playoffs injured or not. Chuba and Hackers were just making up numbers on bench tonight after obvs heavy sesh last night haha. I even said to me auld fella that Rodders would get game before Chubs tonight . All I can say is we'll obliterate Luton if its the pair of us at Wembley in final . Our real pace ( not tonights) will murder them on a wide pitch like Wembley. In a selfish way I'm happy if we finish fourth cos I'm working the day of 3rd vs 6th . Gonna love watching the champo over next 2/3 games . To think anyone down to Swansea in 12th can get in there . Just hoping not Mackems . Would be class to beat them in play offs but at same time can't imagine that sickening feeling if they beat us . Personal opinion they won't make it . Will be Blackburn or Baggies .
