Hello

I know (thanks to a post on here from Lefty) that NXTGN is cancelled, but then I saw that The Lounge Society were still going to play The Westgarth on the 26th with a few other bands. Got all excited but am not sure now as The Westgarth’s FB page doesn’t have them listed on the night. Are they still playing? My youngest daughter’s future happiness depends on this…😁

There are two Westgarth Fb pages.

The official one is not exactly prolific in highlighting shows that are taking place there.

The other one is an "unofficial" page ran by a local promoter who is, shall we say selective, about which shows he highlights.

To be honest relying on either page for an upto date list of events is probably not going to work for you.

To be honest, I’m not on Facebook, I was just trying to find some confirmation of the exact line-up. I’ll wait and see what the man himself has to say.

They make a good racket, don’t they? Saw them last year downstairs in the Westgarth and we were all impressed. I’ll have to get myself over to Hebden Bridge / Todmorden (never been to either before) one of these days cos they sound right up my street.
