FA Cup 3rd Round Draw

It’s a great draw for us I think, Villa are a really good side but will rest some players . We need to price this well and if we do it should be a big crowd.
looking at tv options they will def go for the battle up the road ( I had a feeling that would happen as soon as I heard Sunderland’s name called out) .
Arsenal v Liverpool
Wigan v Man utd

i think it may also be us too, they usually have 5 or 6 3rd rounders on dont they.
Happy with this draw

I'd have tried to get tickets for the Sunderland/Newcastle game, but won't bother with us being drawn at home.

Newcastle will hammer them.

They have to give more as the FA Cup be about 7000 geordies. Shame they aren't required to do this in the championship
They gave us 2000 8 years ago in the FA cup, it still ***** me off, I hope after last season and the reduced allocation at their place after assurances that we would get more the club gives them 1700-1900, if they are going to treat us as irrelevant let's do the same to them.

Might ours be on TV?

I don't know how many 3rd round matches get televised these days.

Liverpool/Arsenal, mackems/Geordies are certainties, but beyond that, a PL culb away to a champ club looks like one of the more attractive fixtures.

Good draw…expect a similar result to last year against Brighton if I’m honest, but that won’t be a bad thing and also an opportunity to see if we have progressed.

I think they get 3 games each (ITV/BBC)

Agent "Danksy" helped get us Archer and Ramsey over the line, knows a lot about Villa from his time there.
He`ll use his powers to help draw up our cunning plan to send the "Villans" back home empty handed

I just had a chance to review the whole draw, and even putting emotion aside I think we'll be in the top 6 games, whereas when the draw was made I didn't think so. The TV companies will be looking for 'big' games and then ones where a shock could happen and a PL team go out. So the three certainties are Arsenal v Liverpool, Sunderland v Newcastle and Gillingham v Sheff Utd. Most of the Prem teams are at home, there's no non-league team with a particularly interesting draw. Wigan Vs Man U is probably 4th choice, but I can't then see two more attractive games for TV coverage than Boro v Villa. Lets see
