He did, the same as Max in the opening lap. 40% racing incident, 60% Lewis not leaving racing room. If the Monza based stewards get a chance to stop Lewis becoming an 8 time WDC I reckon they'd take it it though.
 
Crashtappen just can’t help himself. He knew they had a terrible pit stop and it was a case of damage limitations. He knew exactly what he was doing at that corner. Hamilton left him space (somethin crashtappen didn’t do in the first lap) and at no point was crashtappens car ahead of Lewis at turn 1 and he just wiped him out, no intentions of backing out and like i said damage limitations, wipe your title rival out to negate the gain.

It was only inevitable as Verstappen was never going to yield. Hamilton had the racing line and was half a car ahead going into the corner.

The curb launches Verstappen into Hamilton but there was no space once he goes off the track, back out and let the authorities decide if Hamilton left enough space.

Instead Verstappen does the dangerous thing and takes them both out.
 
I’d say watch that clip again and focus on the direction Max’s steering wheel is pointed compared to what he can see in front of him.
 
The Halo has been brilliant again, if not for it Hamilton would have had the side if Verstappen's car buried in his head then a tyre parked on it.

Probably saved his life!

Yeah cant believe we had such opposition to it, probably 4/5 times we have seen it save someone since it was introduced
 
The more I watch it the more I feel it's not a racing incident, Verstappen at this point had a choice to make, crash or yield to the left.

He can see Hamilton has the line and is ahead, he has to back off, there's simply no room for him. He chooses to crash for me.

Been out today so just watched the race haven’t read any posts as yet

wow what a race

for me that’s a racing incident and let’s face it was bound to happen. - I did say that first corner would be crucial
