Anyone had eye lens replacement? Thinking of having it done and had heard it was cheaper abroad. Any recommendations?

NHS do a decent job.. worth paying a bit extra I guess when it comes to your eyes.

Don't go private in this country, they'll have your eyes out.

The NHS will replace the lens with a new lens with power 0. If you need sight correction then you'll still need glasses or lenses.

If you go private the lens will be replaced with a prescription lens, so you won't need glasses.
