Exeter Tickets

I expect they will go on sale in good time because Boro already know some of the details about how many they will get etc. So, when I say "In good time" I mean it should not be a week or ten days before as it has been at times this season.

By the way, I have appealed to Boro to contact the EFL about late ticket arrivals from away clubs last season and this season. The EFL needs to get stricter with clubs sending out their tickets to the away club. (I had been approached by some fans complaining and quite rightly that they that they are left waiting for away tickets and that makes transport etc possibly more expensive).
Sorry to be so woolly in my answer.
Thank you

and I heard multiple conversations about how playing Boro was a terrible, completely dull draw for them
Well that's because it is - when they could have played Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U or Newcastle, playing us is a 5hit draw

Have they announced the Sky games for the next round yet? Will give Exeter a miss if in the unlikely event its on TV, as was planning on going to Plymouth.

I know, I was just stating what I heard and speculating that there might not be a lot of uptakes on tickets from the home fans. Agree totally that we are not really an attractive draw for anyone

Buying tickets in the home end will be a good option for those living in the SW but Id have thought they would block purchases from those with a NE address. If as Rob says we get more than Luton did they may well make general sale?

Exeter would have loved a Manchester or Liverpool so they could make more money through television and hospitality sales. Let’s face it, I think we groaned just as much as they did when the draw was made. We also would have liked a top club.

I don't think any Championship club is a good draw.

Too good to be a great opportunity to progress, not big enough to be an exciting draw.

It's the equivalent of us drawing a Wolves or a Crystal Palace. Not exactly a Hollywood fixture but probably getting knocked out

Will 162 points get us tickets we've already sorted out accommodation and travel down there took the week of intend to do both Exeter and Plymouth

There has been considerable interest in the match from Boro fans. Lots of people are talking about wanting to go.
Maybe lots of Exeter fans wanted a big name but what an opportunity for them to get to a quarter final and make this a historic cup run - so many Exeter fans are going to want to be a part of this. Having beaten Luton they will fancy their chances too. Am sure it will be a very big crowd home and away.

Yes, it will be a game they will think they can win but I feel you are missing the point, it is not the glamour tie that would have brought in television rights or hospitality bookings they would have liked. There were plenty of big clubs in the competition and they drew us.
