Looks like they are trying to make it a big colourful occasion from their side, hope we bring our scarves and flags

So how long have you waited for this fixture then as it must be like a dream for you esp with Plymouth as well.

I imagine he's been waiting since he moved to Exeter.

I remember going to apply for a job in Penzence I got the form and was about the fill it in, but didn't in the end. One reason was the thought of struggling to get to any Boro games - It was in 1994, Pre-Internet days, and Sky was just really starting up. It felt like I was going to work abroad. Bristol City was probably 3 hours drive each way.

A dream and a pain, the latter because of the tickets, not for me because I've been around the block enough times to know how to get them.
I still have various threads to put up, might as well make the most of it, , one definite one is closer to the time, ' do you know where the players are training?"" I have Thursday off so if I can get to their training area , I take a few cans, probably an umbrella and sit there congratulating myself on my good luck.

I do hope that I'm not part of any display in the seat I bought this morning!
I'm practising how to scream, "You dirty Northern B*stards!" already.

Fingers crossed I can get a ticket in the away end for Argyle, but as I'm a Plymouth resident getting a home ticket will not be an issue.

I have been to the Exeter v Plymouth fixture a few times, in the main stand you can always see pockets of Argyle fans jumping up when they score, outside can be be a bit naughty( said with Danny Dyer accent)but inside away fans tend to get left alone( not on the big bank). I probably won't wear colours, that is just as much a nod to the difficulty of getting into bars around Exeter after the match wearing colours than attracting attention in the home seats.

I've attended the reverse fixture, Argyle v Exeter, a few times and I can testify that there's not much love lost between the two sets of fans. A number of my friends are season ticket holders at Home Park and are hoping that we pump the Grecians on the Tuesday (and then we get beat at Home Park on the Saturday!).

I will certainly not be wearing any colours and I'll be travelling on the train from Plymouth on me Tod, so it will be easy to keep myself to myself (y)

There will be a lot of us knocking about, many are coming down Sunday and Monday so I expect a few ( families) will be wandering around town early doors. When we played the friendlies down here two years back i bumped into plenty of Boro all over the place.

I’m really looking forward to this one. Hope to enjoy a beer or three with you guys before the match.
They don't usually close pubs unless the Devon and Cornwall police get jittery about the fixture, I can't see this being one of them but it's maybe better to leave it closer to the time and then hopefully we have a rough idea what the door policy will be for the pubs near the ground or even will be open. Exeter don't really suspect it yet but I feel they have a mini invasion on their hands where I'm so used to to following Boro around and seeing Boro fans in whatever pub I go in. I have a feeling we will be taking over whatever pubs are open.
