Excellent song

My old man had a tape with this Dave Edmunds album on one side and the first Dire Straits album on the other side. I can vividly remember the tape even now it had a red label on it. It seemed like he had that tape in his car for years and it sound tracked many happy journeys.
We got to loads of gigs together in his later years and Dave Edmunds was one I was desperate to go to with him but he doesn't tour much unfortunately. Great artist though, cheers for the reminder Erimus74

When going through the awful task of clearing out his garage earlier this year my mum found a box with all of his old cassettes in. This one was in there. I fortunately managed to stop her from throwing them all out!! Our house is in chaos at the moment due to an extension so I've left the box at my mums but I can't wait to get a bit of spare time over the winter and sit and listen to the tapes. There's something about the chronology of an old mix tape where certain songs become forever associated with each other where they follow one another on an old tape
