For me one of the best British bands of all time, and have their first album in more than 20 years out next year as confirmed by Tracy yesterday on Twitter

Tracey Thorn says there's a new Everything But The Girl album coming out in 2023

This afternoon (2 November) Tracey Thorn announced that she and Ben Watt have recorded a new Everything But The Girl album that's arriving in 2023.

Fantastic news and what a talented pair. Only time I saw them was around 85 in Norwich. I thought they had split!!

They can never really split, given they're married, but obviously haven't worked together for a long while. Ben has been doing his Buzzin' Fly label and his solo stuff, as well as his illness which he writes about in his book Patient. Tracey mainly focused on writing and being a mum.

Not sure they'll tour as Tracey has often spoke about her discomfort and anxiety on stage. She does however do a fair few talks around her books, and was the last "concert" I went to before COVID.
