Everton's New Stadium Update

I've watched a few of these videos of it coming together and it gives you the wow factor when you see.

I just hope their first game is against a Championship team.

I can't see it though, Moyes is doing well.

They are going to have a public event in the next few days of 10000 people attending, I was hoping to make that my next videoof the Bramley Dock stadium but as this as been put up I don't need to , it really tells you how are they are getting on, it's there and as long as anything doesn't majorly arise out of the sequence of public attendance events they have planned what we are seeing now is what will be hosting the 1st premiership game next season.

Very European in style; I think it's a great design and really like the plaza around it and preservation of the building which seems similar to the dock clock tower in Middlesbrough.

Unfortunately Moyes seems dead set on making it a Premier League ground next year.

Looks great.
Kind of like the Riverside in being that the surrounding area is, shall we say, not exactly known as a tourist attraction. There used to be loads of 'over the border' style pubs round there...proper dockers pubs, but they've probably all gone now. Roughest late drinking establishment I ever went in was not too far from the ground...the Norseman.
Made the Bongo look like the Savoy.

Spectacular and must be dreamworld for the fans when they first get in. As it was for us. As a side point it's interesting that no sponsorship currently shown on the seating which is pretty much a given nowadays.

No chance of Everton getting relegated. I'd think there is a reasonable chance of them staying up if they don't get another point, but they're certainly not going to lose all their remaining games under Moyes.

The ground looks awesome, but I think getting away from it is going to be difficult. It's surrounded by water on 2 and a half sides, which means there's going to be long queues getting away. I assume that the end closest to the river will be the home end though, because there's no way the police will want the away fans coming through everyone.

I did my first ever job down that part of Liverpool in 2007
We were constructing the big concrete pontoons for the new cruiseliner facility which is located next to the Liver Building. They were constructed in Canada Dock and floated down. So we were virtually next door to the new stadium.

I know exactly what you mean about it resembling over the border. It was rough as f4ck and loads of old working class pubs. Regular str1ppers and knocking shops everywhere.
It was some place to work when you are 19 year old and away from home. We had an Irish lad on site who owned his own groundswork firm. Took me under his wing a bit and used to look out for me. I'd go for tea and pints with them on a night. But wow did it open my eyes.

I think that's what's missing from the match day experience at the Riverside - decent strippers.

Exactly this. 😅😉
On a Sunday dinnertime you could follow the Jack the Rippers from pub to pub.
