One of my favourite times of the year....didn't try for tickets as couldn't be arsed with trying to get accommodation along with half of Europe!!
Anybody got any favourites yet? I've barely heard any so looking forward to the Semi finals. Did catch Norway's on the radio today though and really, really liked it

Agree. Fantastic Tv. Watch out tonight for Finland’s song. They are on last in the running order but will end the semi with a bang.
 
I expect a few comments like Redasabeetroot and you’re entitled to your opinion. However Eurovision is nothing like the plinky lalala songs of the 70s-90s.

A lot of the songs are top class and the production in the performance some of the best choreography you will see on stage. Loreen’s song for Sweden will be a club banger, indeed it already is and I agree Cardiff, Finland’s will get them rocking.

 
Fantastic TV all week.
Been listening to the songs for months, dipped into a couple of the national finals and watched 3hrs of the Turquoise carpet on YouTube the other day, you could say I’m looking forward to it 😁

Norway is my favourite, but pretty sure it’ll come down to Sweden v Finland.
Finland’s is a gloriously mental event, but can they get the judges votes to see off Loreen.

Throw in Croatia’s theatrical military monster, Belgium’s 90s dancetastic throwback, Serbia’s 80s computer electro track, Austria’s earworm citing Edgar Allen Poe and pretty much anything else to tickle your musical ear and it should be a great watch.
 
Buck Fizz Made my Mind Up in 1981, never to watch it again. ;)

I can't knock anyone who does watch it and these Eurovision parties look like good fun.
 
Serbia - the nonsense gets better. Extra points for the white plinth thing. No idea what it’s all about. A high score from me.
 
Added bonus tonight, as a follower of Metal and rock bands with female singers just been on you tube and had a look at The Hard kiss. More music to explore.

Latvia - The mistake they have made is think 4 good looking young lads in a band would ever make it in Liverpool. Far too normal 👎
 
Enjoyed Serbia...mind I was only listening so don't know what was going on on stage.

Portugal is ok too....pity she looks like 1 of them dolls ur nana put over the toilet roll
 
Portugal - bit of an authentic Iberian feel to the song so good for them, it was time we had one like that 👍

Well, I was worried it was a bit too good. Saved by the gold lame elvis suit 👍
