Eurovision

I'll be in Santander while its on (the actual city, not the bank). Shame as I normally quite like watching it, unless I can persuade the lads to watch it with me in a bar.

Years ago I experienced the worst New Year's Eve of my life when a family member misguidedly bought me and the then Mrs V 31st December tickets to see Mamma Mia live at that huge hangar of an arena in Newcastle. It was excruciating.

I'd rather go back there than go and see Eurovision.
I sat through Il Divo there (it was a surprise present for the Ministry of Good Ideas).
Two hours of my life I'll never get back...I did my husbandly duty.

Touts are selling them for £12,000 each (equivalent to a Boro season ticket for 25 years).

BBC Radio are saying the touts have special software that helps them get in first.

The touts often have to meet the buyer at the event to avoid prosecution and the tout throws their ticket away - hence there will be gaps in the audience - obscene isn't it.

Example of how technology had made the World worse and less fair.
