Euro VAR

They have apparently put in some changes to automated decisions, VAR has been unnoticeable and the standard of refereeing has been excellent! I also feel like less controversial moments and less diving etc … so far so good, I hope stays like this for the rest of the tournament and the Prem takes notice.

Agree.

Was just saying this to my daughter. The levels of cheating/diving/sh*thousery seems to have dropped massively and the refs are having - collectively - a really good tournament.

Players are just playing football and generally getting on with it.

👍

The rule that only the captains or one designated player can speak to the ref is working well too and can only help to keep the game moving with less tantrums and histrionics from players.
Hadn’t realized they’d brought that in, but great always worked really well in Rugby, it’s really embarrassing seeing player surrounding the ref shake their fingers and miming sh.it, equally as bad was the ref running off the pitch to watch a tv for 5 minutes to check his decision.

Yeah so last night because Denmark's captain is the goalkeeper Schmeichel the designated 'speaker' was Hojbjerg I think.
