Euro cancelled until 2021

I don’t understand the thinking the euros is cancelled so we ca. Complete the league. The euros are cancelled because of the virus we cannot complete the season because of the virus. With the virus expected to be around for a while the fact the euros is being cancelled is irrelevant.
 
As I said on another post, let’s cancel football until mid May then play the FA Cup over a week and the European Cups as a week long tournament the week after in either the chosen host cities or in somewhere deemed safe. Then play the league and play offs to mid July. Then 6 weeks off and we start the season first week September with more midweek fixtures and shorter breaks for Internationals, we could play league games on the Saturday, Internationals on the Tuesday and Friday and then league game the following Wednesday.
 
I don’t think we will be through the worst by then I really don’t subscribe to “the euros are cancelled so we can finish the league” The virus prevents the euros and will also prevent other football. At this moment I don’t see it as a solution.
