Euro 2024 tickets

Which city are hotels based in ?
Have hotels in various cities starting with Cologne on 25/6 and ending with the final. They are all bar a couple for the day of the game only. Rather than hijack this thread, if you want to send me a DM for the dates you want I can let you know whether I have anything. Most have gone up a lot in price and assuming the hotel will let me change the name on the booking should be a good deal!

I went to World Cup in Germany in 2006 without tickets and had a great time, plenty of tickets available at the ground (might not be as easy if it's all digital now though), also great atmosphere in the fanzones to watch the games if you didn't have tickets.....like mini beer festivals.

Waiting to find out , if any of our group got any tickets

Yes so did we and it was great but we were successful in the ballots also. First time that none of our group came up with a single ticket. Democratisation of the process as access to the internet has got more widespread,

Applied for 12 tickets across 3 games. 0/12 I'm afraid. There'll be quite a few going back into the hat for the second ballot from people who thought it was a good idea at the time but can't actually afford it

Do you know when the second ballot is? I might not be so hasty selling my hotel rooms!

From the UEFA website, doesn't give a date though:

Will there be another chance to buy tickets?

Those who are unsuccessful in their application in the October 2023 phase will be notified about new ticket availability (resulting from, for example, failed payments of other fans) according to their ranking in the lottery. These tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Furthermore, one million tickets will also go on sale – in close cooperation with the national associations concerned – to supporters of the participating teams following the final tournament draw on 2 December this year.

Tickets will also be held back for sale to supporters of the national teams that qualify through the UEFA EURO 2024 play-offs, scheduled for 21 March and 26 March 2024.

Same at Euro2004. We had tickets but you could buy them cheaper at the ground, even for the quarter final game we went to, so long as you're not bothered what game you're watching.

When the Group Stage fixtures are known, following the final tournament draw on 2 December 2023, a new ticket sales phase will take place.

Later in 2024, there will be further opportunities to buy tickets.

Please note that you can participate in all the different sales phases for the general public.

More details on future ticket sales will be communicated in due time. Please visit EURO2024.com/tickets regularly for updates. You will find a “Key dates” section with a timeline.

We're planning to be there for around 5 nights, so might try for other games in the East in the next phase.

Following the draw, tickets are made available to relevant countries so might be worth signing up for a few of the membership schemes?
