UEFA must be breathing a financial sign of relief that there has been no new stadia etc. for a tournament that looks very doubtful at the moment.
As a fan, would you be happy with all friendlies and other international games being cancelled next season and play Euro Championship games instead, playing the final after the Champions League?
It may be one way of doing it instead of pushing domestic seasons around.
