I think what I missed from Series 3 was the strong sense of place. That Pacific Northwest setting, the hotel, the woods. The bits in Vegas, interdimensional stuff, the weird bit where the couple are attacked by entity that arrives in the box. I think it was mainly Dougie, evil Dale with long hair and the guy at the end with his green glove that I couldn't get on board with. I just didn't feel those characters worked, especially Dougie. Wally Brando was amusing I thought Sheriff Truman's brother was good.

I liked it when he did the Hucklebuck on Top Of The Pops.

I watched it loads of times as a kid and was fascinated by it. Although I was growing up in Billingham, so that might explain it!

They should have called the film "Normal for Billingham".
